La Trinidad is the capital town of the province of Benguet. A town that has been referred to as the “ Strawberry capital of the Philippines”.
In getting to La Trinidad you have two options, either you bring a private vehicle or ride a public transportation, a jeepney or a cab.
For private vehicles:
Use the google map of your smartphones but make sure that you have a strong internet connection. Or you can just stop by and ask the friendly locals of the directions. Don’t you worry the locals are very much hospitable and accommodating.
For jeepney commuters:
There are three jeepney stations bound to La Trinidad.
· One is in front of Baguio City Hall
Another one is at the back of Baguio center mall
Lastly, at Magsaysay just after you go down from the overpass at Baguio center mall
All the Jeepneys from this three station are labeled with:
- Pico, Puguis, Motorpool-Baguio City
- Buyagan-Baguio City
- Tomay-Baguio City
- Acop/Shilan-Baguio City
If you saw these jeepneys, they are what you are looking for!
Ride on and start the journey!
You will know that you are already in La Trinidad if you saw this welcome arc,
Or if not ask the driver to drop you off!
The first part of La Trinidad where you could take off is approximately 10 mins away from Baguio City!
*note: if you feel that you are lost in finding the directions, always ask the friendly locals of Baguio and Benguet!*
